Tired of trying to adapt office grade PC equipment to your industrial control system only to discover overheat problems, mounting problems etc? Ever try to fit an office grade PC into a Nema12 cabinet and then secure it to the panel so it doesn't fall over or self destruct during shipment due to bouncing around poorly secured. Mach3 PC100 control PC with wall mount/panel mount brackets standard (Din rail mount brackets are optional)
With the front snap on cover removed. This PC accommodates 2 USB 2.0 devices that can fit underneath the front cover. A wireless USB adapter will fit just fine. 4 USB 2.0 ports are on the rear of the unit along with a parallel port, and a standard RS232 port, gigabyte ethernet port and video port and power jack. The model pictured is the Mach3 PC100 model preloaded with Windows XP home version SP3, optimized for use with the Mach3 CNC software available from Artsoft at http://www.machsupport.com/ . A power brick is included with the unit. This PC sports 2 GB of ram, a dual core Atom 330 CPU and easily passes the Mach3 LPT port speed test. The LPT port has 3.3 volt outputs that can directly control Gecko G203 drives, the G540 4 axis unit, and the new G320X servo drive as well. With the use of a break out board (BOB) the PC can control just about any other step and direction controlled servo or stepper motor system. The Automation Direct Servo systems can be connected with the addition of an inexpensive 5 volt power supply and some pull up resistors. This PC is fully burned in and tested for at least 24 hours. Variants: If you would like the concept of this PC but would like something different, please ask. The existing power supply used internally accepts a regulated 12 power source which is included in the form of a power brick (120 VAC to 12 DC). If you would like to use this PC in a vehicle or off of a battery power source, a different power supply can be installed for a modest additional cost that can accommodate mobile applications and can withstand a voltage drop without rebooting as occurs when a vehicle engine is started. This PC is currently available on Ebay (search for "Mach3 CNC PC" to find it) however if you want more than one unit please inquire on stock levels and multiple unit discounts.
